Treatment for pediatric dental trauma largely depends on the severity of the injury. Dr. Wadhwa is often able to treat the trauma with a crown or bonding material. Other times, the tooth may need to be extracted.

In the event that your child has a tooth knocked out, avoid handling the tooth by the root. Try to reinsert the tooth back into the socket gently. If this does not work, place the tooth into a glass with clean water or milk. Call us immediately and bring the tooth with you to your appointment.
